About 45 minutes until my next exam. Gah. Useless things.
Thursday Sandy and I are going to Toronto for a day of shopping and then seeing the Lion King in the evening. Yay! It’s going to be so much fun, I can’t wait.

So I upgrade to the Apr 12 Mozilla build, ’cause there are lots of cool bug fixes, and what bug do I find? Fuckin’ form submit buttons don’t work. Period. Sigh. Back to the previous build…
I’m back from vacation. It was nice to be away. Back to exams and trying to find a job…
Mood:
It looks like another nice day today. I wonrer why I’m still inside…
From the uog.police_security newsgroup:
Date: March 12 00:37
Window broken in Lennox-Addington where a can of soup was thrown through
it. ACTION: Under investigation.
Phew, glad I don’t live there anymore. Here’s another one:
Date March 16 02:12
Someone damaged the mirror on a police cruiser near the University Centre.
ACTION: Under investigation.
It’s your day when you look in the cupboard and find a box of cookies that you forgot you had. Yum.
Exam today was alright. There was one or two things that I should have studied more closely, but it was alright. An alright on the final + a wicked mark on the midterm + okay grades on the assignments should = a decent grade for me.
I decided that when I got home I would play Heroes III until my eyeballs
fell out, because I could. So that’s what I did. Although I did just do
a bit of programming for me.
I feel like I’ve started to regress back into what I was like when I was living alone in res. Late nights, playing computer games, intaking lots of caffeine… Sandy come back!
Mood:
The final essay is done. It’s getting late. I’m thinking of starting Operating Systems tomorrow with a fresh mind, and playing Heroes III all night.
I love these little mood icons!
Mood:
Doing really really good on my essay methinks. Only a few more points of Marx to hit, and then I get to come up with some possible weaknesses in my position and respond to them, and then I’m basicially done. Time to take a break for some dinner and Heroes of M&M III.
Moods:
Last night we finally got to the bar for a little shindig. The mood was
casual, not uptight or uneasy at all, good conversation, lots of food, a
great evening.
Before all that though, Sandy and I saw Shadow of a Vampire. I
thought it was a neat little film.
Today I must write my entire philosophy paper. And Sandy’s going home until Tuesday. <sigh>. Oh well, breakfast and then to work!
Mood:
Okay, the last frivolous thing I will do today is stick up an index of these smilie graphics on the side of my monitor. And play one game of Shisen-Sho. Today and tomorrow are the all-encompassing days of philosophy essay writing. Yay! – um, er, yeah.
Mood:
thoughtful
I will never, ever, ever, ever buy the cheapest spindle of CD-Rs I can find. I almost want to throw out the last 25 so I have an excuse to go any buy some good ones, just so I can put a blank in and know with certainty that it won’t mess up.
Sandy and I need to buy a DVD player. If I ever get a job this summer, I might think about buying one. I’m honestly not thinking about buying anything for my computer. Maybe a new hard drive, so I can drop-kick this six-year-old WD 2Gb Win2k boot drive out the door.
Speaking of computers, I bought a notebook for my sister yesterday. It’s a Digital HiNote VP 565. A nice little box: I think she’ll be happy with it. It’s got a nice screen.
I only have one more thing to do before finals. Granted, it’s a Philosophy paper worth 60% of my course mark, but it’s nice to have some of the pressure off.
