Sandy just kicked my ass in LEGO Soccer. I was initially a bit skeptical
that it would actually be a fun game to play, but it is. Oh yes it is.
I have to get around to adding a LEGO section with a list of all my sets.

Well, I’m feeling a lot better now than last night during my lack-of-job-induced anxiety attack. My parents called about an hour afterwards and helped me out. I e-mailed a few more people, and sent a follow-up to one person, and he came back this morning and basicially said that he’d hire me. It’s back at the bank, but it should be good (sounds like interesting work, not just silly support stuff I hope).
The downside of this is that I won’t be able to stay with Sandy over the summer. [Sniff]. We are going to miss each other like crazy and one of us is going to be visiting the other every weekend, most likely. We’ll get through it.
I need a job I need a job I need a job I need a job I need a job I need a job I need a job.
Last night Sandy and I celebrated our anniversary. We went out for dinner at the Carden St. Cafe, a great place that I really should go to more often. After an awesome dinner, we drove to the SilverCity in Kitchener to see Enemy At The Gates. It was just an amazing film. It grabbed hold of you from the very beginning and shook you up for the whole two hours and seven minutes. Sandy said that the film had really moved her, and there aren’t many films that can do that to her.
Anyways, back to the grind. I have mucho work to do on my group project, and way, way, way too much e-mail to worry about. Not to mention I don’t have a job yet for the summer, there are only two weeks left in the semester, etc etc…
I know I’ve used that title before. I don’t care about repeating titles
anymore though.
Today the big thing was the CASU elections. I was running uncontested for Chairperson, and I got it! Yay me! Sandy got Treasurer, and the rest were filled by new people (except for Secretary, which is unfilled). I’m looking forward to working with some new, fresh people with new ideas, full of enthusiasm.
Last night at midnight I realized that I had an assignment due at 4pm today. After hitting myself over the head for a while, I got it done and handed it in on time.
The latest Mozilla build is so fast that I can now use the Modern skin comfortably! Yippy Skippy!
Sandy is feeling better now too. Tomorrow we’re going out for our six month anniversary (which is actually on Thursday, but Sandy has to work).
I just got back from my brief jaunt in Toronto. It was good to see Calum and Jordan again. I hadn’t seen Jordan since… September I think. A good time was had by all.
LEGO finds: Calum and I went to Sears Outlet Rexdale and found a 3409 Championship Challenge for only $35 – 30% ! I had to pick it up. And today on my way back to Guelph I stopped at Sears Liquidation Brampton and found three X-Wing Collectors’ Series sets for $100 each. I didn’t have the money to spend on one but I immediately called Calum and alerted him.
I did miss Sandy a lot this weekend though. She had a rough time at work and I wish I had been home last night for her. And our furnace went out again and required a $250 repair at 2am. Must… kill… landlord…
Visiting Jordan in Toronto. Ate Chinese take-out. Tipova didn’t show, the bastard. Yes, you heard me. Lazy damn bastard.
Sat down at this computer, opened up the the MP3 folder, and decided that
I would listen to The B52’s – Roam.
Yes, I changed the colour scheme yesterday. Do not adjust your set. Now I just have to find / take a new header picture – I think it’s about time for a new one. I think I have an idea for a photo actually – you’ll all see it when I’m done.
I also added the links above to my friends’ diaries, and some other sites
that I read.
There were seven people in my 1:00 class just now. Seven. You think that the professor would get a clue that his lectures are uninteresting, boring, and a complete and utter waste of his and our time?
Roam if you want to
Roam around the world
Roam if you want to
Without anything but the love we feel…
Calum, you are one weird guy.
Meeting facilitator: Sure, it’s weird to have a clown facilitator, but you’ve seen stranger things, I’m sure.
Whenever I need to feel good, or annoy the bejeezus out of everyone within a kilometre radius of my subwoofer, I crank up Len. How can you hate a group that has the CN Tower intheir video?? I didn’t think you could. That’s right.
I am almost cured! Yay!
And I just might have a job for the summer. I have to do my resume. Oh yeah. I should get on that.
