Aaaand the DSL is good!
Turns out it wasn’t a problem with my BSW (the wire from the brown pedestal to my house). It was with my F2 pair (the wire from the pedestal out to the big brown box on the side of the road).

I’m a firm believer in Fibre Last Mile solutions… either that.. or a much quicker adoption of the 802.16 WiMAX broadband… which coincidentally was supposed to go into the testing stages in the Niagara region last month.. but surprise, surprise.. yet again we here in Canada have to wait.
