  • Why must everything I love to watch be cancelled?

“Dead Like Me” Gets Killed – Oh Crap! Sandy’s going to be super-pissed about this when she wakes up.

  • Rogers is going to get coal from me.

Die. Die die die die die.

Rogers ‘new’ E-mail to SMS ‘service’ is the biggest piece of utter garbage I have ever seen. I’m going to say it. Fuck Rogers. There. I said it. Right before Christmas and all.

Well, after 10 minutes of Google searching and an hour or so of coding, I worked around their idiocy so I can now send the GO Train updates to my phone without having to bloody send an SMS. I think I will do the same for CBC Headlines because they cut that off too. Bastards!

  • So glad I take the GO Train now.

CBC Toronto – TTC to put televisions in subway cars – they had better come up with a damn good way of preventing people from disabling them. I think it’s kind of sad that the TTC has to resort to further blasting passengers with ads in order to get cash. The walls and floors of stations are already plastered in stuff, entire subway cars are converted into moving billboards…

  • Things I did not know until 10 minutes ago

    • Kwanzaa was invented by some guy in California in 1966.
    • Windows XP has a ‘scroll lock’ feature where you just have to click a scrollbar once and move your mouse up and down. Clicking again stops scrolling. IMHO most people would find this highly annoying.

Christmas is in just a few short days… I still have one more gift to buy. Not to mention wrap everything. Yay last-minute!

We had our Christmas lunch and gift exchange at work yesterday. Dim-sum for lunch was good, it was only the second time I’ve had it. I’ll eat just about anything though, including the dumplings with pork wrapped in egg with a piece of scallop and roe on top (I ate about 4 of these, no one else seemed to want them… I love scallops.)

At our gift exchange I got some movie passes and a lotto ticket for tonight’s 6/49. Cross your fingers!

  • We got a new kitten. His name is Sam. Which means we now have Sam and Max. If you didn’t get the reference, you haven’t played enough early 1990s Lucasarts adventure games yet.

Anyways, here are some pictures of Sam.
