  • more people need to listen to game music

I cannot for the life of me remember where I got this link from, but if you ever played Super Mario Bros. 2 for Nintendo, you will go here and download the song. Now.

My first exam is over, done with, finito, gone, no more. Lost to the ether. Four more to go ulp back to back to back to back. Good thing I had that whole week to study, yeah.

    Anyone wanna buy a t-shirt?

But seriously. I am very much looking forward to getting out of the school life and getting into something where my work and home are separated by some more space, money, and a network segment or two.

  • take a message

UPS finally decided to deliver my package today. Woo! More obsolete hardware for me!

And so today might have been my last university lecture ever, here’s hoping.

  • ups ping-pong

I have a package coming to me via UPS Ground. According to the Tracking Summary, this has been its route so far, starting on March 25th:

Palo Alto, CA, USA -> Windsor, ON, CA -> Cach, IL, USA -> West Point Exchange Point, IN, USA -> Toledo Hub, OH, USA -> Canadian Int’l, MI, USA -> Toronto, ON, CA -> Windsor, ON, CA

Uhh, guys… it was already in Windsor… do you think you could put it on a truck and drive it out to my house now?

  • is it spring yet?

Yesterday was big-ass cleaning day. Cleaned out and reorganized the crawl space under the stairs. Sandy has more stationary supplies than most corporations I’ve worked at. Et cetera.

Friday we saw David Usher in Toronto. Oh my goodness. It rocked. It was amazing. He is amazing live. Not much more I can say. The opening act wasn’t that great.

I do have pictures. I will post one shortly.

  • you do learn something new every day

The other day I learned that if you create a shortcut in Windows 2000 and specify the arguments to the shortcut as “%1 %2 %3” as you would in a DOS batch file, then drop a file or files onto that shortcut, it will pass the filenames as arguments to the program. So now I have a drag-and-drop package installer (courtesy of UnixNPI) on my desktop. Neat-o.

Hey, someone has to provide some geek now that Grant is on hiatus!

  • okay, I’m all set now

    • Camera… check.
    • CompactFlash -> PC Card adaptor… check.

    All set. Let’s roll.

  • sigh…

I left my camera at home. So much for that.
